Does the $30 registration fee go towards my total collected?
Yes it does. The $30 goes toward your total. Everyone must have a total of $100 from the registration fee and donations combined.
I am riding on a motorcycle with someone else do we both have to register and collect the minimum $100?
Yes all participants must individually register and collect the $100 each for a total of $200 for both people on one bike to participate in the event.
My spouse & kids or neighbors, friends or other family members are driving down separate to hang out with me at FSK, Do they need to register?
Yes if they are 16 years of age or older. Everyone 16 Years of Age and older on the events grounds must be registered and raise the additional minimum of $100
Can mail-in registration fees for more then one person be combined in one check?
Yes they can but there needs to be a separate registration form for each person included in the check.
Can my mail-in registration fee be combined with donations in one check?
Yes, but if sending for more then one person there needs to be a completed donor forms or clear instructions as to what money goes where.
I am collecting money with another person can we send our money into together?
Yes, but you need to fill out separate donations forms so we know whose account to credit when we receive the money.
About Checks:
Ride Across Maryland Foundation, Inc. does accept checks. Checks should be made out to Ride Across Maryland Foundation, Inc. or RAM and mailed to us at:

Columbia, MD 21045
To make sure checks are credited to your account participants need to:
- Go to their web page
- Click on "tools"
- Click on "enter pledge" and follow directions
- Print out entered checks and mail print out and checks to RAM.
A Note about Personal Web Page Recognition:
Please note if you want to recognize your donor's name in honor or in memory of an individual on your personal web page, you must enter this information when you enter their pledge online. Due to the large number of donations, The Ride Across Maryland office will not be able to enter this information on personal web pages.
A Note about Mailing in Donations without online pledge print outs:
If you choose to mail in your donated checks without entering them online as a pledge, make sure a donor form is included and note there will be NO recognition on your web page.
Checks Returned for Not Sufficient Funds will be charged a fee of $7.50 and will be required to resubmit payment in the form of a money order or credit card, including the fee.
When sending checks how long will it take for them to post to my account?
Please allow two weeks from the day you mail your checks for them to post to your account. If it has been three weeks and the checks have not posted please call the office 410-992-9999 or email info@rideacrossmaryland.org
About Cash:
Please do not mail cash, if you receive cash donations please keep the cash and pay RAM by check or credit card.
Checks - To pay by check follow the above steps listed under about check.
Credit Card - To pay by credit card enter as a sponsor of yourself but enter the person's info who gave you the cash, but add your information with your credit card to the billing section. If you are going to pay using your own information please do this through your own account. PLEASE DO NOT CREATE A 2ND ACCOUNT IN YOUR NAME.
Can I bring donations the day of the event?
Yes, additional donations will be collected at Francis Scott Key.
Can I register the day of the event?
Yes, participants can register the day of the event for a $100 registration fee.
Does RAM arrange for my accommodations?
No you will need to arrange for you own accommodations please click here for more information
